The land of Izmer has long been divided by a ruling class of magic users, known as Mages, and the powerless commoners. To challenge Savina’s rule, Profion must obtain the scepter, a powerful tool that controls Izmer’s Golden Dragons.
Savina, knowing that Profion’s rule would bring destruction, sets out to find the legendary Rod of Savrille, a mythical object with the power to control even mightier Red Dragons. She enlists the help of two thieves, Ridley and Snails, who unknowingly become key figures in her quest, along with a feisty Dwarf named Elwood and the Empress’s expert tracker, the Elf Norda.
Together they journey through dangerous locations such as the Thieves Guild at Antius, an Elven Village, a secret grotto and abandoned castles, always one step ahead of Profion’s henchman Damodar. As the race for the Rod of Savrille intensifies, the fate of Izmer hangs in the balance.
Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God (2005)
Based on the wildly popular role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons 2 delves deeper into the dark and fantastical world of this fantasy epic. The evil sorcerer Damodar steals the powerful elemental black orb and declares a sinister plan of revenge against the kingdom of Ismir. A decorated warrior named Berek and an amateur sorceress named Melora team up with four heroes, each representing a different attribute, Intelligence, Wisdom, Honor and Strength, to battle Damodar’s army of terrifying creatures, including flying harpies and an ice dragon, on their quest to retrieve the orb and reach a vault room that holds it.
Together, they use elemental forces to build their own army and defeat Damodar before he can summon the sleeping black dragon, whose immense evil power could destroy the entire kingdom.
Dungeons & Dragons 3: The Book of Vile Darkness (2012)
Two thousand years ago, Nhagruul the Foul, a sorcerer who reveled in corrupting the innocent and the spread of despair, sold his soul to the demon Lords of the abyss so that his malign spirit would survive. In an excruciating ritual, Nhagrulls skin was flayed into pages, his bones hammered into a cover, and his diseased blood became the ink to pen a book most vile.
Misery and bloodshed followed the disciples of Nhagruul as they spread their Master’s dark dream. The cities and kingdoms of Karkoth were consumed by this plague of evil until an order of warriors arose from the ashes. The Knights of the New Sun swore an oath to resurrect hope in the land and with the help of Pelor, the God of Light, they pierced the shadow that had darkened the land for twelve hundred years. However, not all were awed by their glory.
The disciples of Nhagruul disassembled the book and bribed three greedy souls to hide the pieces until they could be retrieved. The ink was discovered and destroyed but, despite years of searching, the cover and pages were never found. Peace ruled the land for centuries but as a memory of the awful events faded so did the power of the servants of Pelor. They unknowingly abandoned themselves in the incorrect belief that the Book of Vile Darkness could never again be made whole.
Scourge of Worlds: A Dungeons & Dragons Adventure (2003)
In a land plagued by conflict, an ancient group of wizards created the ultimate weapon to defeat their foes and bring an end to all wars. They named it the Aryx Orthian, also known as the Scourge Of Worlds. Hidden away for centuries, the Scourge is now being sought by a new force of darkness, looking to unleash its secrets.
To save the world, three brave heroes – Regdar the human warrior, Lidda the rogue halfling, and Mialee the elf wizard – must undertake a dangerous journey and make a decision between honor and evil, life and death. But the ultimate choice belongs to you.
Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight (2008)
