Johnny English (2003)
When it becomes known that Britain’s favorite jewels have been stolen, the service calls in its best man, the cream of the crop, the number one agent, but almost as quickly as he appeared, the agent ends up three meters underground. Unfortunately, every subsequent agent experiences the same.
There is only one man left, Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson), whom everyone hopes will protect his country, find out who is behind the murders of his predecessors and the demonic plan to steal the Royal Jewels, a symbol of the former British Empire. The main suspects are the mysterious French businessman Pascal (John Malkovich) and the seductive Lorna (Natalie Imbruglia). Johnny hasn’t been in the Secret Service long and has mostly been an office rat. But when the Royal Jewels disappear from the Tower of London, the safety of the entire world is in question.
The clumsy, but optimistic and up-and-coming Johnny with his sidekick Bough (Ben Miller) operates quickly in his highly equipped and specialized Aston Martin, uses the latest weapons and has access to classified secret service documents. He’s not the best the British Secret Service has got – he’s the only one left.
Johnny English Reborn (2011)
In the years when secret service spies disappeared from the scene, English honed his skills in remote parts of Asia. When Her Majesty’s Secret Service learns of a planned attack on the Chinese Prime Minister, they urgently need to find an unorthodox agent before tragedy strikes and global chaos breaks out. When the world needs him again – Johnny English is back in action.
Johnny English Strikes Again (2018)
Known to the audience from the previous parts of the series, Johnny, who now teaches at a preschool, returns to action to find a mysterious hacker or a potential mole among the ranks of the British Secret Service.
