Message in a Bottle (1999)
One day on the beach, young journalist Theresa Osborne (Robin Wright Penn) accidentally finds a message in a bottle. Signed only with the letter “G”, the message is full of love and grief for the deceased wife. Having shown the message to her colleagues, Theresa has no idea what kind of events it will cause and set in motion.
The letter from an unknown man is published in tomorrow’s edition of the newspaper, and readers’ reactions, among other things, bring two new messages in a bottle. Moved by the author’s emotion, Theresa sets out on a search, which soon leads her to the attractive boat restorer, Garret Blake (Kevin Costner).
And indeed, Garret is still grieving for his wife, and Theresa, herself unhappy due to the recent breakdown of her marriage, finds in Garret the man of her life. But the past still stands between the two unhappy lovers.
A Walk to Remember (2002)
Young Landon Carter (S. West) is among the group of drunken teenagers who decide to play a rough joke with their schoolmates one evening at the lake. Due to his carelessness, his peer is injured when he falls into the lake. After trying to escape under the influence of alcohol, Landon soon falls into the hands of the police, and to the satisfaction of his mother Cynthia (D. Hannah), he is punished with forced charity work.
When, in addition to participating in the drama section, he begins the daily hard work of cleaning the school premises, Landon one day catches the eye of the withdrawn Jamie Sullivan (M. Moore). Dear John (2010)
John Tyree (C. Tatum) is a young member of the special forces of the US Army who, in 2001, arrives from his service in Germany for a two-week vacation in his hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina.
