She enlists the help of two thieves, Ridley and Snails, who unknowingly become key figures in her quest, along with a feisty Dwarf named Elwood and the Empress’s expert tracker, the Elf Norda.

Together they journey through dangerous locations such as the Thieves Guild at Antius, an Elven Village, a secret grotto and abandoned castles, always one step ahead of Profion’s henchman Damodar. As the race for the Rod of Savrille intensifies, the fate of Izmer hangs in the balance.

Based on the wildly popular role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons 2 delves deeper into the dark and fantastical world of this fantasy epic. The evil sorcerer Damodar steals the powerful elemental black orb and declares a sinister plan of revenge against the kingdom of Ismir. A decorated warrior named Berek and an amateur sorceress named Melora team up with four heroes, each representing a different attribute, Intelligence, Wisdom, Honor and Strength, to battle Damodar’s army of terrifying creatures, including flying harpies and an ice dragon, on their quest to retrieve the orb and reach a vault room that holds it.

Together, they use elemental forces to build their own army and defeat Damodar before he can summon the sleeping black dragon, whose immense evil power could destroy the entire kingdom.

The Knights of the New Sun swore an oath to resurrect hope in the land and with the help of Pelor, the God of Light, they pierced the shadow that had darkened the land for twelve hundred years. However, not all were awed by their glory.

The disciples of Nhagruul disassembled the book and bribed three greedy souls to hide the pieces until they could be retrieved. The ink was discovered and destroyed but, despite years of searching, the cover and pages were never found. Peace ruled the land for centuries but as a memory of the awful events faded so did the power of the servants of Pelor. They unknowingly abandoned themselves in the incorrect belief that the Book of Vile Darkness could never again be made whole.
