Bird Box (2018)
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where we meet Malorie Hayes and two children trying to cross a river in a boat, all blindfolded. Five years ago, supernatural creatures were found on Earth, and if people look at them, their mere presence will drive them to madness and suicide. The only way to survive is blindfolded.
Cargo (2017)
In 2270, Earth is completely depleted and no one lives there anymore. Those that have money move to Rhea; but most of the population lives in orbit in space stations. Dr. Laura Portmann decides to work in the cargo ship Kassandra in eight-year travel to Station 42 that is in orbit of RH278 to raise money to meet her sister Arianne in Rhea.
They keep in touch with each other, but their messages take three years to reach the other. Laura joins Captain Pierre Lacroix and his crew composed of First Officer Anna Lindbergh; Communication Officer Miyuki Yoshida and Igor Prokoff and Claudio Vespucci. The Sky Marshall Samuel Decker joins the team since the terrorist group Luddites, led by Klaus Bruckner, is bombing the stations.
Lacroix organizes shifts of eight and half months for each crew-member while the others rest in cryogenic sleep. Three years and eight months later, Laura finds that there is apparently a stowaway in the cargo compartments and Decker and Lacroix are awakened to it.
Rim of the World (2019)
The plot of the film takes us to the Rim of the World summer camp, where four teenagers – Alex (Jack Gore), ZhenZhen (Miya Cech), Dariush (Benjamin Flores, Jr.) and Gabriel (Alessio Scalzotto) – realize that in front of them is a bigger problem than rowing and climbing a rope when faced with an alien invasion.
District 9 (2009)
Thirty years ago, extraterrestrials made contact with Earth. The human race expected a merciless attack or an enormous technological advance. None of that happened. Actually, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors from their planet. The creatures were placed in District 9 of South Africa because the countries of the world could not agree on what to do with them. The aliens have become a problem and everyone is losing their temper.
The private company MNU is in charge of the aliens, which has only one goal – to equip the aliens with powerful weapons in order to make money from them. One of their agents, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), is exposed to an unknown alien substance that makes him the most wanted man on Earth. There is only one place where he can hide – District 9.

I Am Mother (2019)
Born from test tubes in a nuclear storage facility, a lonely teenager is the first of a new generation of humans raised by ‘Mother’ – a benevolent robot created to repopulate Earth after humanity has been wiped out.
When a woman unexpectedly arrives and starts banging on the shelter’s door, the teenager has to decide whether to accept the stranger or not, and, as a result, finds herself in conflict with her parent. Into the Forest (2016)
