How many Kobe Bryant documentaries are on Netflix?
There are currently not a lot of documentaries about Kobe Bryant on Netflix. There are some talks that The Black Mamba documentary will be made by Netflix, but nothing is yet confirmed. Still, in the two documentaries below you can see Kobe at his best.

Black Mamba Netflix documentaries
Unfortunately, there are currently only two documentaries about Kobe Bryant. Still, we do believe that Netflix will soon make a new documentary about The Black Mamba. Let’s see what are these two Netflix documentaries about and how they feature Kobe in them.
The Last Dance (2020)
While the series follows the 1997/1998 season in detail, we simultaneously discover how the legend of Jordan and the Bulls were born, going back to the very beginning. We’ll explore every part of Jordan’s career, from his rise as a high school star in North Carolina, to his 1982 championship with the Tar Heels, to his arrival in the NBA, where he became a global marketing force and cultural phenomenon.
Then we’ll follow his successes with the Bulls, a torturous climb to the top of the league, three straight championships, a hiatus from baseball, and an incredible comeback that ends in “the last dance,” as coach Phil Jackson called it, as the team 1997/1998 knew that it would be their last foray into the title.
That incredible scenario serves as an interesting backdrop to the behind-the-scenes story that season and features detailed profiles of Jordan’s key teammates, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, as well as Jackson and moody general manager Jerry Krause. Fans will be able to experience all the tension and conflicts that determined the final push for the championship title.
One episode of the Netflix documentary series The Last Dance features a posthumous appearance from Kobe Bryant.
The Redeem Team (2022)
Using unprecedented Olympic footage and behind-the-scenes material, The Redeem Team tells the story of the US Olympic Men’s Basketball Team’s quest for gold at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing following the previous team’s shocking performance four years earlier in Athens.
Kobe Bryant played a big role in the US Olympic Men’s Basketball Team, so he is featured heavily in this Netflix documentary.
