Air Bud (1997)
Josh (K. Zegers) and his sister are left without their father, who was a test pilot and died in a plane crash. In order to cope with the loss, their mother decides to move to the small town of Ferfield, “where anything is possible” and where she herself grew up. At the same time, at a child’s birthday party, the children are entertained by a bad, clumsy and not at all funny clown. The only good thing about his performance is the part where a dog plays with a ball. Unsatisfied with the dog’s performance, the clown puts him in a cage and sets off on his way.
However, the cage with the dog falls in the middle of the road and is almost run over by Josh’s mother, who is arriving in town with the children.
